Rumor has it that the new iPhone 5 will cost around $800. That’s a lot of money to fork over for a smart phone that will probably end up being very similar to the latest iPhone, the 4s.

We rummaged through Twitter to see what people in-and-around the Boston area had to say about the steep price of Apple’s latest creation, and for $800 the consensus is that Bostonians better be getting their money’s worth.

Would you pay $800 for an iPhone 5?

In taking a look on Twitter, it’s been determined that the majority of us would not spend that much money. You’re better off waiting a few months, or even a year, until that hefty price tag comes down…UNLESS OF COURSE the new iPhone 5 has ridiculous features like these…
