Never one to shy away from controversy (or maybe even look for it!), Chris Brown has gotten a big new tattoo, and it’s not exactly easy to hide – it’s slapped right on his neck. And it’s a woman’s face that looks somewhat like…Oh no, please tell us it’s not who we think it is!

TMZ speculates that the tattoo is of the battered face of Rihanna, Brown’s ex and long the subject of reconciliation rumors. While we can’t really put anything past Brown considering his volatile past antics, would he really tattoo that on himself at all, let alone on such a visible part of the body?

It looks like it could really just be a woman with her own tattoos on her face, or covered with leaves or something…What do you think?

UPDATE – 4:30PM: TMZ now reports that Chris Brown’s rep says the tattoo is “a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw.  It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.”
