Larry David’s HBO movie Clear History has brought A-list celebrities to Boston. Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Jon Hamm and Larry David star in the film. They began filming yesterday on West Street and will most likely continue filming today in Beverly. Earlier, they were seen shooting at Great Pond Road in North Andover, according to Patch.
Clear History tells the story of a man, played by David, who quits his job at an electric car company. The company then escalates into a multibillion dollar corporation, but David’s character is left with nothing. He moves to an island in Mass., discovering his former boss Will, played by Jon Hamm, is renovating a house nearby. He begins to plot revenge. Hudson plays Rhonda, Will’s wife, who befriends David’s character unaware that he is plotting revenge.

Off the set, the celebrities have been spotted exploring Boston. David and the rest of the cast and crew enjoyed dessert at North Andover’s Pipe Dream Cupcakes.
Hudson is no stranger to Beantown. Here, she filmed both Bride Wars in 2008 and My Best Friend’s Girl in 2007. Locals have spotted her frequenting her favorite spots: breakfast at The Paramount and shopping at Holiday, according to Boston Herald’s Inside Track. Hudson sightings may incur at Pizzeria Regina in the North End, Sonsie and Stephanie’s on Newbury.
