Loren Raye was born and raised in NJ and grew up acting and dancing since the age of four. When she was 16, she hosted her school’s Junior Class fashion show, and it was right then and there that she knew she was meant to be behind a microphone. While attending Penn State University, Loren threw herself into everything: tailgating every Saturday for the football games and taking on every extra-curricular relating to broadcast that she could get her hands on.
The summer before her senior year, Loren interned for Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show in NYC. That’s where she met TJ Taormina and her passion for radio ignited (especially when she realized she could go to work in a hoodie and no makeup on!). Loren was offered a full-time position with the show and spent five years learning anything and everything about radio. To continue her broadcast education, Loren studied to be a Voice Over artist and now has a client list which includes MTV, NBC, Chase, WalMart and various international radio stations.
When Loren isn’t in the studio, you can find her curled up on her couch keeping up with all-things-pop-culture and watching copious amounts of television (Homeland, Shameless, Walking Dead, Pretty Little Liars, The Following, Mad Men, Dexter, Real Housewives, Modern Family…just to name a few!). On the weekends you can find her with her friends, dancing her ass off and drinking a lot of frozen passion fruit margaritas (no salt!). Finally, Loren firmly believes three things are essential to a happy life: good food, good company and a comfy pair of sweatpants.
