This week’s Badass Chick is Jules Lavallee, creator of Kitty Whoop Ass.
Initially, the term “Kitty Whoop Ass” was used to describe the Boston native’s alter-ego; someone who is fiercely independent, power-driven and wants to succeed. This nickname was given to her by one of her friends on a whim… but, it stuck, and Jules thought she could take it to the next level by connecting with fellow Kitty Whoop Assers.
This summer, she was particularly upset after Cecil the Lion was killed, and she felt compelled to help. So, she got to work starting her business. By November, her site was up and running, and Kitty Whoop Ass t-shirts and mugs were on its virtual shelves. A portion of the proceeds from each sale goes to the Big Cat Rescue, an organization that helps stop animal abuse.
Celebrate your inner Kitty Whoop Ass and check out Jules’ collection here. (Hint: they’d make a cute Valentine’s Day gift!)
