Calvin Harris’ Song About Ex-Girlfriend, Taylor Swift, Supposedly Drops Tomorrow

by Alisha Jackson

Oh, how the tables have turned. In Taylor Swift‘s world, the death of a relationship almost always results in the birth of a hit song. The song is usually written by her. But this time, it looks as though Calvin Harris took note of his ex-girlfriend’s therapeutic songwriting tactic, and decided to cash in on the failed romance first.

While Taylor has been busy shacking up with her new beau at her Rhode Island mansion, Calvin Harris has apparently been busy hitting the studio. According to TMZ, the Scottish DJ has reportedly teamed up with singer John Newman to record a cheating song about Tay Tay called “Ole.”

Some of the alleged lyrics read, “I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend …” “You’ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell. Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.” The lyrics even call out Hiddleston’s Thor character, Loki, in a very clever way. “Low key you won’t tell none of your friends about me.”

According to John Newman, the song will drop on Spotify tomorrow, and a lyric-less preview of it can be heard in the video below.

I told you it was different, Olé is dropping tomorrow....
