People will go loco when they hear about your new album, Charli XCX.
After killing it with her 2014 sophomore record SUCKER, the “Vroom Vroom” songstress has revealed more information about her third album dropping “soon.” According to PopCrush, in an interview with The Standard, she stated, “I’m going to be putting a record out soon and it’s going to be the most pop thing I’ve done…I’m just finishing it but I can’t say anything yet. I’ve been in LA chilling and it’s great to be back in London.”
From “Fancy,” to “Break The Rules,” to “Boom Clap,” if there’s one things she slays at it’s Pop songs. In a 2014 interview with Time, she revealed “her third album would be inspired by Japanese pop and would sound like ‘another planet up in the clouds’ and ‘intensely weird and childlike.’”
Sounds like quite the contrast from angsty punk anthems of SUCKER, but she’s sure to deliver — she has set the bar very high for herself.
