Congratulations to Fifth Harmony, who took home both of the MTV Video Music Awards they were nominated for last night!
The girls won the award for Best Collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign on their track “Work From Home”, and Song of the Summer for “All In My Head” featuring Fetty Wap. And Ally Brooke won best sport of the night, for nearly falling flat on her face not once, but twice on the Square Madison Garden stage, and handling it like a queen!
We blame the incidents on Billboard, who photoshopped two right feet on Ally back in May.
Poor Ally… On her way up to the stage to receive Fifth Harmony’s award for Best Collaboration, Dinah stepped on the train of her dress, and tripped her pretty bad in the process. Based on Dinah’s reaction in the video below, she either didn’t notice what she had done, didn’t care, or was experiencing a moment of shock.
Later on in the evening, after the girls presented DNCE with their Best New Artist award, Ally tripped again and probably would have fallen flat on her face if bandmate Normani hadn’t caught her fall. Again, Dinah was walking behind her, but it’s unclear she if she stepped on Ally’s train this time.
Check out the footage below.
Yikes! Ally didn’t let her embarrassing stumbles get her down though, as she took to Twitter to thank Harmonizers for Fifth Harmony’s VMA wins.
