According to Naya Rivera‘s aptly titled autobiography, Sorry Not Sorry, the actress’s life is just as, if not more dramatic than her character on Glee’s was.
In a passage from her book, via Us Weekly, Rivera claims that she once caught her ex-fiance, Big Sean, at home with Ariana Grande while they were still together. Well, she didn’t come out and say Ariana Grande’s name outright. Instead, she offered a rhyme — “Smariana Schmande.”
“We’d been fighting for five straight days while he was traveling, and then on the one day that he was back in L.A., he said he didn’t want to see me,” Rivera recalled about her then-fiance rapper. “‘Well, a–hole, I’ve got a key to your house,'” Naya recalls thinking. “I walk in, go downstairs, and guess what little girl is sitting cross-legged on the couch listening to music? … It rhymes with ‘Smariana Schmande.’”

“I learned that I was no longer getting married from the internet, and at the same time as the rest of the world,” Rivera shared in her memoir. “Not only were we no longer getting married, but apparently we weren’t even together anymore.”
