Chris Brown Denies Child Protective Services are Investigating Him

The singer posted (and then deleted) a video denying that he's under investigation.

Since Chris Brown found himself at the center of an incident that some reports described as an “armed standoff” with police, rumors have flown about his legal situation, lifestyle, and even his parenting. Last month, an woman alleged that Brown pulled a gun on her at his home, which he described as a “set-up” following an altercation that started over jewelry. Brown was arrested and released on bail, but outlets have since speculated that authorities want to determine his fitness as a parent.

Brown posted (and then deleted) an Instagram video refuting tabloid claims that Child Protective Services was investigating him, reports US Weekly.

“I take care of my daughter fully,” Brown reportedly said. “Somebody make an accusation, 90 percent of y’all believe it, and it’s bulls—. The last three weeks or whatever been going on with the accusations, you know it’s false.”
