Boston’s yearly electronic music showcase is back this spring for an eighth year. Together Boston announced the first wave of artists, and it’s the who’s who of up-and-coming dance music. Without the big name pull of larger festival markets, Together focused on curating a list of newcomers and tastemakers.
At the top of the lineup is U.K. juggernaut Leon Vynehall, San Francisco’s Avalon Emerson, and Nine Inch Nails’ synth master Alessandro Cortini. Volvox, Clark, Com Truise, and duo Mount Kimbie round out the list.
Together will take place May 14-21 in various venues around the greater Boston area. If past years are any indication, the festival will be equal parts dance party and educational seminar.
“Through a week-long series of educational and professional discussion panels, art installations, film screenings, and musical performances at venues around the Boston/Cambridge area, Together Boston attracts tens of thousands each May” write the organizers.
