This week’s Badass Chick is Beth Bouchard of the Ginormous Climb, which raises money and awareness for victims of child abuse.
Beth’s job is pretty amazing: she works with teenage girls who are at risk of exploitation. She basically acts as a liaison between different agencies and helps facilitate not only the crime-solving aspect of these cases, but also provides resources for kids to begin the healing process.
For the fourth year in a row, she’s dressing up as a superhero and climbing to the top of the John Hancock Tower as part of the Ginormous Climb. All the money raised goes to the Suffolk County DA‘s Children’s Advocacy Center and helps these brave kids get justice.
Producer Matt and I will be at the Ginormous Climb again this year; he will be climbing and I will be hosting. We hope you can join us on April 1st!
