Is there anything Ed Sheeran can’t do? The singer-songwriter stopped by the Howard Stern show to promote his latest release, and delivered impressive covers of some classic sing-a-longs.
Prompted by Stern, Sheeran delivers short snippets of 50 Cent‘s 2003 banger “In Da Club” and Coldplays‘s turn of the century unrequited love song “Yellow.” The musician closes out the set with a scorching rendition of Blackstreet‘s “No Diggity.”
While on tour with fellow acoustic troubadour Passenger (Michael David Rosenberg), Sheeran and Rosenberg began covering “No Diggity.” Prompted by management to take the stage together, the two picked the 90s classic as it was the only song both artists knew, and “everyone knows the lyrics to that one.”
