Kesha Unveiled An Entire Era This Morning And It’s Only “The Beginning”

The best is yet to come.

Kesha has returned with her new anthem “Praying” which is about overcoming obstacles in life. It’s the music Animals everywhere have been waiting for and it’s the beginning of an era 5-years in the making.

In a social post, the Warrior songstress stated that “I hope this song reaches people who are in the midst of struggles, to let them know that no matter how bad it seems now, you can get through it. If you have love and truth on your side, you will never be defeated. Don’t give up on yourself.”

Aside from just dropping a new song she also dropped an accompanying music video. Not only that, but fans were also gifted with the news that her new album Rainbow will drop on August 11th, and received the tracklist and pre-order.

The album will showcase a cover of the Dolly Parton’s hit “Old Flames Can’t Hold A Candle to You” — written by Kesha’s mother — and also features the famous country artist on the track too. Many Animals know this song as it was featured on the Deconstructed EP.

The new era is upon us and the sound is a clear departure from what she has done previously. Her country, blues, and rock roots that we’ve seen glimmers of, from “Machine Gun Love,” to Deconstructed, to her new renditions of her hits on the F*** The World Tour, are on full display.
